It has been a busy Saturday afternoon in the NHL today as 23 players have officially hit the waiver wire from 8 separate teams after being cut.

It is a normal occurrence to see so many players hit waivers this team of year as cuts are made almost every two days which means there are a ton of players that hit waivers.

While it is normal for players to hit waivers during training camp, today was definitely a lot more than usual, especially when you factor in that 16 players also hit the market yesterday but all cleared waivers.
