Former Bruins forward James van Riemsdyk was one of the best forwards still let without a contract headed into training camp.
It looks like the Blue Jackets and van Riemsdyk have agreed to a 1 year contract worth 900k.
We've signed left wing James van Riemsdyk to a one-year contract!
Most fans were surprised that JVR was not signed sooner since he still had a decent season last year and despite being 35 years old now, he could definitely still help a rebuilding team add some depth.
