A recent report has revealed this morning in which all star defenseman Kris Letang has apparently asked for a trade to the Canadiens .
Kristopher Letang has spent his entire career in Pittsburgh and has won 3 Stanley Cups along side Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin but it looks like he wants out.
According to insider mark Madden, the Penguins have discussed sending Letang to the Canadiens.

Kristopher Letang, who is entering the third year of his $36.6 million contract, has been a cornerstone of the Penguins' defense."

The Penguins defenseman is at the end of his career and is a Montreal native which is why it makes sense that he would like to end his career playing for his childhood team.
