First off, there's a surprise move as the Ottawa Senators place another enforcer on waivers!

Zack MacEwen is now available at no cost. He is likely to be claimed since he's one of the most feared players in the NHL.

MacEwen, 27, is a giant at 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 240 pounds. He has amassed close to 300 penalty minutes in 208 career NHL games, scoring 15 goals and totaling 31 points.

Regarding the waiver wire, please also note that Max Willman and Dominic Toninato were not claimed today.

Willman, 28, has amassed 8 points in 63 career NHL games and 39 points in his last 74 AHL matches.

As for Toninato, 29, he has gathered 35 points across 184 career NHL games and 41 points in his recent 59 AHL games.
