Bruce Cassidy brought the Stanley Cup to Milton, Massachusetts, to honor Cassidy Murray, a family friend who tragically passed away.

The Murray family found comfort in watching the Vegas Golden Knights play hockey, providing a temporary escape from their pain.

Witnessing Bruce Cassidy coach and the Golden Knights' journey to victory in the Stanley Cup Playoffs was particularly meaningful.

During his time with the Cup, Cassidy also launched the Cassidy Murray Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on expanding educational opportunities and supporting mental health needs for those facing unimaginable tragedy.

The foundation aims to help families in similar situations navigate grief by connecting them with mental health professionals and grief and trauma services.

Linda Murray, Cassidy's mother, shared her aspirations for the foundation and its mission to support others in the face of grief.
