It's been a dreadful two weeks to say the least for the Boston Bruins. Following their worst Streak of games since 2019, the Bruins had a statement 4-1 win against the buffalo Sabres Wednesday night in Buffalo.

Everything was working for the Bruins on Wednesday. They scored three power play goals on five chances. Their penalty kill rounded back into form killing off six penalties. Special teams were firing on all cylinders!
Jake Debrusk, who has been struggling mightily the past few games with just one point in the last 9 games had a two-assist night on two of the powerplay goals along with three shots on net. The Bruins are hoping this will snap Debrusk out of his current scoring slump.
The Goaltending continued to be outstanding with Jeremy Swayman stopping 25 out of 26 shots, he was also crucial on the penalty kill with five saves while shorthanded. He was also helped out by possibly one of the best saves you will see by a non-goaltender when Charlie McAvoy knocked a puck out of midair that had got behind Swayman and was heading for the back of the net.
The Bruins salvaged to points on their three-game road trip and now return home to face the New Jersey Devils on Saturday. The Devils will be a stiffer test than the Sabres were, but if they continue to play the way they did Wednesday, Bruins fans have to like their chances against anyone.
