Brad Marchand makes comments on Bruins prospects
The Boston Bruins have some serious question marks surrounding a couple prospect such as Georgii Merkulov and Fabian Lysell.
Captain Brad Marchand spoke with reporters after his first practice back since his three surgeries and had a lot to say about the Bruins prospects in the interview making it clear that it will not be easy for them to make the team.
Marchand agreed with the reporters that it is encouraging to see these young players do well in the pre season but stated that it will take much more than he has seen if they plan on making the team.
Marchand's points in his comments was not to put the young players down but make it clear that it will take more than a good pre season game to make the jump to the NHL.
As a player than has done it all, these prospects should listen carefully to what Marchand as to say as he has gone from a roll player when he entered the league to one of its best scorers and hardest players yo play against.
If Merkulov and Lysell plan on making this roster for the start of the season, they will make sure to take Marchand's comments to heart.
