The Bruins drafted defenseman Elliott Groenewold out of the USHL at the 2024 NHL draft with their 4th round pick.
Despite being a later pick, it seems like the Bruins have high hopes for the young defenseman who is headed to Quinnipiac University this season.

It looks like Groenewold was not a highly recruited draft with his 16 points in 57 in the USHL but the Bruins still believe he will be dominant in the NCAA this season as a one of the top freshman in the league.
