Bruins insider reveals Swayman's future with Boston hanging by a thread
The ongoing sage with the Boston bruins and Jeremy Swayman seems to take a new direction everyday as Bruins insider Jimmy Murphy reports that he does not suspect good things to come out of this standstill.
Respected Boston Bruins reporter appeared on the "Fifth Liners Podcast" to discuss what he thinks the outcome and future will be for Jeremy Swayman and the Bruins. He was told by a Bruins scout that conversation are still far apart and that he has a «weird feeling on this Swayman thing.»
The scout also emphasized that Swayman had drawn a firm line in the sand and is not willing to budge as he used the same situation that Toronto Maple Leafs star William Nylander �s went through in his previous negotiations that ultimately kept him out until December.

The agent that represents Swayman is Lewis Gross, who most notably also represents William Nylander who broke the record (in the salary cap era), where he became the longest player to sit out NHL history. Fortnatly for the Leafs, Nylander signed in the final moments of the deadline on December 1st. Now, scouts believe that this will play out the same way for Swayman and the Bruins.
