The Boston Bruins are still in search for a top-6 forward to replace Jake DeBrusk and they might have found their guy from the New York Islanders.

According to New York Islanders Hockey Now writer Russ Macias, the team could move on from Oliver Wahlstrom in order to get his cap hit of their payroll, and the Bruins likely could swoop in a make a big trade.

The Bruins are still in talks to lock up Swayman, and until that happens you best believe that there will be no trades occurring in Boston until that is settled. But if and and when Swayman signs, ssssss Wahlstrom could be a great pickup as he can start out in the bottom-6 and move his way up based on performance.

After his ACL injury, the 24-year-old only appeared in 32 games for the NY Islanders, he struggled badly to find his game as he only scored 2 goals and 4 assists with a +/- rating of -6. A change of scenery cold be good for him as he definitely has a higher ceiling than what he is showing.

Do you think Wahlstrom would be a good addition to the Boston Bruins lineup?
