Chris Neil Vs Zdeno Chara

On February 25th, 2012, Ottawa Senators Chris Neil and Boston Bruins Zdeno Chara had a major fight that is still talked about to this day.

When the Senators and Bruins faced off back in 2012, the game got physical and chippy from the start and the main instigator was tough guy Chris Neil. Neil was known for playing hockey on the line and was not afraid to mix it up and drop the gloves to answer the bell. Chara on the other hand played a physical style of game as well but pick and chose when he needed to step up to the plate, but you can tell in the matchup that there was bad blood between the two.

When Neil hammered Johnny Boychuk with a monstrous hit, Chara went right after him and scrum ensued, but no gloves came off. On the ensuing faceoff, Chara lineup up next to Neil and forced him to go toe to toe, and the rest they say, is history,
