If you have been following the Boston Bruins a little bit, you know the drama surrounding Jeremy Swayman, his agent Lewis Gross, and it reached a boiling point on Monday. President Cam Neely came out and villainized him and his agent for being the reason a contract had not come together.
It was pretty obvious that Swayman's agent Lewis Gross was upset they went public, but as he should, Gross came to his clients defence saying the Bruins are liars as an offer of that magnitude was never presented.
But fans and analysts have come to the defense of Neely and the Bruins as they say Gross has a history of driving toxic and hard contract negotiations, and his credibility may not be the strongest.
The best example is with William Nylander, who Gross also represents. To this day, Nylander held out from a contract longer than anyone in NHL history when he eventually signed on December 1st. But let's take a look at Gross' attitude when it comes to these hard situations.
