Penguins have cancelled their game for strange reason
The NHL pre season is in full swing as teams are narrowing down their roster every as they prepare for the regular season to begin in mid October.
The Pittsburgh Penguins were set to take on the Detroit Red Wings last night in Detroit but had to cancel the game for an unusual reason.
The Penguins released a message that the team plan was having mechanical issues that they tried to fix but were unfortunately not able to deal with in time to make it to Detroit for the game.
While some fans supported them saying that it was better to be safe for the players sake, others did not understand why a major organization like the Penguins were not able to simply get another plane.
There has been no update as to if the game will be scheduled for a later date prior to the season beginning or it has been all around cancelled and the two teams will end up with a shorter pre season than the rest of the NHL.
